How fun is live TV? Incredibly fun with a sprinkle of adrenaline rush.
I am the only one who knows how to produce every newscast and edit video; so, they like to throw me around- and I love it!
Every day, I'm writing anchor scripts, editing reporter scripts, planning shots, and choosing what video you'll see. I then time the shows live and co-direct.
When I have free time at the station, I'm investigating, sending FOIAs, and breaking down data.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

I started out as a reporter and then jumped to the dark side! I worked my way up and oversaw the production of 5 shows.
(We also worked on some short films.)
I led and taught groups of 7 to 14 journalists throughout the week on live news productions.
All show durations ranged from 15 to 30 minutes and were broadcasted on TV, Instagram, and Facebook.
I also got the opportunity to meet some industry celebs!

I promise it's a lot more than looking pretty in front of the camera. As an actress, I had to make sure my communication was perfect between production and agents. I also developed the habit of arriving 30 minutes early wherever I go and being prepared for whatever situation was thrown my way.
Product placement is now always on my mind after working on the sets of multiple commercial shoots.
Also, don't get me started on memorizing 10 pages of dialogue in 24 hours- haha. Adaptability was the name of the game and I'm so glad I had this opportunity!

Hi, it's me, Entrepreneur Logan, and this is my startup. My colleagues and I are all freelance artists. We came together to create an agency that specializes in visual storytelling. This means we do comics, manga, designs, script editing, and much more.
We're also dabbling in animation. We have a partnership with an animation studio based in Indonesia and are working on a short film, animation series, and commercials. Stay tuned!

MASSCOM INTERNSHIP

SUMMER 2020
My focus was on broadcast but this internship created a very well-rounded Logan.
I got to do my videos and report on a consumer story! Then- I was dragged into PR. I wrote a beautiful press release and collaborated with others to create a coronavirus mask campaign. I also got to implement my art into a comic/article that retells the stories of high school students' encounters with drugs. It's wild! As of 2022, I got a lede through some data and you'll soon see it as an investigative special report.

For two summers I traveled to Atlanta to learn marketing and business strategies from Kevin Shine. He was the A&R for many big names, including Kanye West.
The marketing principles I absorbed go over different facets of promoting artists, performances, merch, and how to gain maximum profits. These techniques can be used beyond the music industry.

I worked in new business/client relations and received a behind-the-scenes look at handling customers, proposals, finance, and the inner workings of a company.
I am now a customer service pro and have this skill as the foundation of my work ethic.
